Indoor Soccer

Hello dear readers, Baconmaster here.  Last night I was at an indoor soccer facility watching my dad play goalie.  It was a great game played by both teams yet the home team managed to win from the deficit 3-5 to 10-9.  There were some very good shots last night from both teams on the turf and ended up as a win for the home team with 45 seconds left.

Some cool facts about indoor soccer include:

  • Indoor soccer is on a smaller field and is a quick paced game compared to outdoor soccer.
  • Indoor soccer uses artificial turf requiring players to wear a different style of cleats.
  • The rules of the game are the same to the outdoor version and there are walls and netting surrounding the field.
  • If a ball goes out players don’t utilize throw-ins but its a free kick from a nearby wall.
